If you could go back in time and influence your past-self to do something slightly differently, what would you do?

How far back is up to you. It can be directly or indirectly. Personally, if it were me, I'd go back in time by ten minutes and tell my past-self not to trip over that rock near the tower block; thus, avoiding a very embarrassing fall. 😎

My purpose, is to find purpose.

Sorry but I'm a cynic who lives in the here and now... I'm just raising a point that I feel is relevant to the thread. Now then... if I could go back in time I would go and see Jimi Hendrix play at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 maybe even when he played at Woodstock the year before.

I would somehow get my hands on all the information of every stock exchange from the last 20 years and send it back with $1000 to me in the past.
Then I will play the stock markets and become a child millionaire at age 6.
Or some other, better thought out plan to make millions before I start elementary school.

Wow, for a guy who claims to have understood the thread, after being corrected you seemed to have made the same mistake. The idea is to "influence" your 'past self' (meaning two people of the same existance, 1future + 1 past = in the same timeline) to do something differently, as in a time paradox.

If it has nothing to do with influencing past selves then it is very irrelevant my friend.

I will go 10 years in the past and say to my past self to not agree with my aunt a certain agreedment that embarrass me a lot.

I'd go back to when I was four or so where learning a language and an instrument was so much easier. 🤣
