Anime Better or Manga?

I'm thinking of starting this series, BUUUUT I don't want to read the manga and watch the anime (too time-consuming to do both!). So which should I start with?
Seems to me like the anime might be the better choice since the scanlations apparently incorrectly translate Zaji as a girl (through no fault of their own; it seems the mangaka himself didn't make it clear until the anime aired).
But overall, is the manga significantly better in terms of story/art/quality? Then, I won't mind something as minor as gender pronouns being misplaced and will read the manga instead.
Can someone who has read the manga AND seen the anime compare them for me? I'd really appreciate your input so I know which one to watch/read!

if you have already been reading the manga don't you think that it would be annoying to read watch the anime at least that is my problem it is too annoying with the lack of explanation of things in anime i always think if you are going to watch the anime do it first
I only watched the first episodes of the anime, but it wasn't as good as the manga for me.

Looks like people agree the manga is better! Any other suggestions? Or I'm going to start on the manga, lol...

Usually I'd go with the anime, but in this case the manga was much much more appealing to me than the anime imo.

The anime can be pretty good so far as I've watched, though it has a few dumb fillers, and it does a fairly beautiful job of translating the art style and color--but I would definitely say the manga is WAY better, especially if you want to catch all there is of the plot. The illustrations are amazing too. Also, the anime diverges at one point pretty recently-- I think because it's coming out faster than the manga.

i finished the anime and i found that there are some unanswered questions in it so i would like to read the manga ,i wondered if i should read it from the first chapters or i can skip the part that was adopted to the anime ,i tried to check the last scanlated chapter "46" but i found that it contains parts from the anime and others not in the anime ,so i thing i will read the manga from the beginning,i wish the manga will answer all my questions and i don't think that i will feel bored because the story is worth re-watching and rereading ,and normally i'm the type who likes to read and watch both anime and manga specially when the manga provides more illustration and more satisfying end
