I've read a lot of the older-ish stuff and am wondering if anything new has come out in the last 2-3 years that is pretty good?

It doesn't have to be purely shoujo-ai or yuri.

I love stuff like Negima, Shitsurakuen, Girl Friends, Mai-Hime, etc.

The more action/adventure the better! But drama is nice too 🙂

Off the top of my head, I can think of Akuma no Riddle. It's an action shoujo ai manga with a mostly all female cast.

SERIES
Citrus (Saburouta) - Extremely popular drama, if you haven't already read this, you should.

Fluttering Feelings - A Korean manhwa. If you enjoyed Girl Friends, then you should enjoy this. I may even go so far as to say it is better than Girl Friends, and Girl Friends is in my top 5 yuri. It's really good.

LOVE/DEATH - Two yandere type charaers that are in love. Leads to some...destructive situations... Funny, cute, and awesome. Has action but no adventure.

ONESHOTS
Tropical Ririon - A nice oneshot with a unique and orignal setting.

The Forest Where The Goddess Lives - A very cute story. Has some slight drama. I recommend every single work done by this mangaka. Their work, while not heavy on drama or action, is overloaded with cuteness. This one is probably their most dramatic.

A Girl In Ultramarine (Not on MangaUpdates) - It is by Momono Moto, whom is also one of my favorite mangaka. She usually writes some pretty awesome drama. This one is one of her best and is also one of her longer oneshots as she usually writes pretty short ones. This one is a yuri train, who doesn't love yuri trains?

As far as action, Murcielago is fairly new but is nsfw. Stray little devil is a bit of an oldie but goodie. It's sfw at least. And is quintessential action/adventure yuri. Banana no nana is pretty much lesbian One Piece.
