Lol the bit about Sakura and Sasuke having the similar crying expressions is hilarious. And you are right Sakura should've noticed but she was just too focused on Sasuke, she didn't even know about his good points which were noticed alot early on by Hinata.

My prediction of what to come is this:

Before they make an agreement of who leads the alliance, Sasuke and his troop are going to raid the meeting and mess everything up. And from there it'll either be some good fight action or some more political talk between him and the Kages. And then that's when Naruto will enter the scene.

Now the fate of the villages rests on Naruto. No pressure there.

so danzo/madara, 4thmizukage/madara jus went out the window for now n e way, danzo seems to be well known which makes him a creepy old guy with a stolen sharingan at best for now and the favored leader of 4 kages against the unknown madara with 7 tailed beasts, akatsuki (includin watever that kids team is) and who knos wat. sakuras still gonna turn naruto down and hes gonna use 1000 years of pain on her and live as a bachelor n see hinata or the chick that beat him up once in a while
predictions are that danzo is gonna die in battle and naruto wins with the comebak rasengan to the nutz defeats madara, beats down sas and makes him see the light and leads the alliance as hokage one step closer to his world domination of narupeace 😉
but theres still more to see like narutos mother, his apprentice, wat itachi gave him to counter sas's sharingan, his fathers technique(the toad scroll), his fox-sage powers and watever else im missin

Here's a crazy idea... Sakura and SAI.

Sasuke obviously isn't interested.
And here is Sai. Actually having said that, I think he has a bit of a thing for Naruto. Who knows what will happen. It isn't just the promise Naruto made that keeps him going though, is it? Everyone needs to give Sakura a break.

I think Danzo is Madara's son. (it is just a theory) and that is why he can be deceiving just like his old man and other various reasons. but yeachhhhhhhh Sakura sure is slow to finally figure it out okay someone bluntly telling her about Naruto's feelings. but interesting chapter.
