Single or Plural

Tell me Manga update users
do you think its more fun to be single or in a relationship?
read more if you're interested to know why i ask...
*i ask is because im always looking for a girlfriend and every time i fail to get with a girl she tells me, "you'll find someone don't worry"
well i noticed that i like to chase girls rather than letting "fate" work things out, i just enjoy the experiences of trying to get with girls rather than being laid back and hoping things work out.
I trust that things will work out, but i just believe i have to give some sort of effort to make sure. well i noticed that even though i am always chasing girls, it seems pretty fun to be single, but at the same time it seems pretty fun to be in a relationship. but i want to know what each individual personally enjoy more *
why because i am the president of the student council of course

Though being single has it's advantages, I think being in a good relationship is better.
(but there is a difference between 'single because you want to be independent' and 'single because you can't get a date'.)
It depends on your partner. XD
Not going to lie, being single was better, in some ways it was less stressful. But it's my first relationship so I guess that's why my train of thoughts lead towards this direction. ._.
Given the choice I'd pick being in a relationship. It's nice...

Well I am single I hardly have a prospect of having a good relationship in the near future but that really hasn't affected me.
I am more of a Lone Wolf type. I prefer to keep things to myself. So, I may not be the ideal person to comment regarding this topic 😛

Friends with benefits. Best of both worlds.
But really...Single. I can't deal with a relationship right now, even when I want to.
Too much going on, I wouldn't have time for them, stress, where have you been all night, etc.

I'm really independent but I do have some times when I muse about getting a girlfriend. The first one I had probably wasn't the best example, she came on pretty strong and it was rather weird yet compelling. Then of course I had to make time for her and sometimes I'd rather be with my friends sometimes it was fun in a spontaneous kind of way. During an exam period for only those who did a chemical engineering degree, I spent a lot of time explaining to her that it was 40% towards my final grade at the end of the year. She somehow never got that in her head and it was at a point in which I couldn't be bothered anymore. Just because you got reading week and have the entire week off please don't drag me around during the day especially when I just had 9hours of field work.
ANYWAY enough with my ranting. yeah I probably would want to be around a girl again sooner or later. I personally think I'm independent socially and financially but sometimes I just sit out and ponder, why the hell have I got all this money for? I don't know I reckon its my inner self wanting to save up for starting a family ^^.
Do not feed the trolls

Single, more freedom. Though naturally there are benefits in being in a relationship, too. But I don't want that atm. ^__^
I'll hug your problems away.

shrug Each has positives, negatives, and opposites.
You could be in an abusive relationship, which would certainly make being single better and make you feel that you'll never want to be in a relationship ever again. But you'd be basing your opinion of relationships on a bad one when that's not how all relationships are.
You could be the last of your group of friends to not have a Significant Other, which generally makes having a relationship look more attractive, as long as you find the right person.
And often, if you're happy single, you've no need to go looking for a relationship, and if you're happy in your relationship, you don't desire to be single again. (That last one would describe me, for example.)
It all depends on the circumstances and experiences of the individual.
If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

thats a little too obvious
overall, the concept of being in a relationship is to have a mutual bond/chemistry with a particular person.
the concept of being single is to not have that particular mutual bond with a particular person.
so without over thinking the topic.
simply choose, do you feel you would have more freedom without a partner?
do you find that it is too time consuming to be with another partner?
do you enjoy sex with many, but feel you are not ready for commitment?
these are basic questions you can ask yourself, in order to answer the question without thinking deeply into "depends on who the person is..."
why because i am the president of the student council of course

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying.
I wasn't saying it depends on who you are with, I'm saying it depends on who YOU are at that point in time - to be determined by answering questions like those you asked above.
Me personally, I'm in a very healthy, committed relationship that I do not find restricting in the slightest. I've had fun both as a single and in a relationship, but overall I think I have always preferred being in a relationship. (Truth be told, whether or not you can say that does depend on who you chose, though.)
Edit: The point of my original post was to say that just because a person says "single" now doesn't mean they won't change their mind and say "plural" later (or vice versa). Their own circumstances and experience will dictate that.

Definitely single.
Having a boyfriend was fun, of course, but it takes away some of your freedom. Seeing as though I'm just not interested in romance, the whole point of having a boyfriend is kind of lost on me. I dislike feeling obligated to anyone or anything, so being single is best 🤣
I am undecided as I've never been part of a pair, but given the choice I'd much rather be with a love interest than without.

i love being single!! but ive never been in a real relationship before but i think that its better because you are free to do whatever you want and flirt with whoever you want and how many people you want without being guilty or being accused of betrayal!! you also dont have emotional dependence on another person..because when to peole are in a relationship......they sort of have this emotional reliance on each other..one of them cannot be fully happy unles the other is happy as well..well...i dont want anybody to penetrate my wall of happiness!!
