If you meant novels then a long time ago. Never was into novels. If you mean reading in general I read everyday which is not just manga/comics. I read anything that interests me which basically includes everything except literature.

This month, with the last being Thrawn by Timothy Zahn. It´s his best book and the 2nd best new canon Star Wars novel after Tarkin. The quality difference with most of the new stuff and all that de-canonized Legacy rubbish is night and day. The no nonsense military narratives in my 2 recommendations even reminded me of Robert A. Heinlein. The highest prase i can give and books are my job.
Just stay away from the often ridiculed Aftermath trilogy, as even i didn´t bother with slogging though all of that (canonically important) mess, and go for one with the most appealing dust cover blurb. You will likely pick a winner and the Marvel comic line is another keeper. Especially art wise. Well done Disney, you brought balance to the force!

For the past few years, have made it a habit to read, at least, once a day (Depending how things pan out, I read either a chapter or for 15 minutes to an hour). Have gone through six books already, about to finish my seventh, this year.

Hollywood executives a crazy, they just are. Siege: Trump Under Fire was also pretty good:

At least one more to go, lol. Reading non-fiction on a somewhat regular basis is good for you.

Not really a physical book, but about two weeks ago I read the whole Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation in about a week and a half.
The last physical book I’ve read I think was Call me by your Name and that was about a year and a half ago.

I bought **The Rise of Kyoshi **a while back, but it took me a while to start it! I'm a big fan of ATLA/LOK, but have been for the most part disappointed by the graphic novels extensions to that universe, so I was a little concerned about how a novel - especially a prequel - would go. Also, Avatar Kyoshi (despite her few appearances) is one of my favorite characters in the show, and I really, really really wanted her backstory to be good, and I find it's harder to enjoy anything that you have high expectations for going into it.

About two weeks ago though, I finally sat down to read it...and then basically consumed it in one sitting over an afternoon 😀. I loved it, and I can't wait for the next book to come out in July.

Does anyone know of any good books that detail the history of Asian countries that IS NOT China?

Currently reading Hilda Hookham's A Short History of China, and I just remember that I don't really know jack as to the history of other Asian countries aside from how they kept giving the Chinese a run for their money in times of war. I asked this before on another site, and the only real response I got was just telling me to avoid works done by the native Asians. Thus far, the closest thing that I have in regards to a "list" for that is just a note stating that I need to pick up Moffat's Mongkut, the King of Siam and The Good Man of Nanking.

Read one just yesterday.
I read a lot of books and while there are some times when I read none for weeks, there are other times when I devour a dozen in mere days.
According to my goodreads, I read about a 100 books a year, so...statistically, a book every 3 or 4 days? 🙂
