I read books more often than I read manga, and I read a crapload of manga.
Today I finished Slaughterhouse Five and right now I'm reading an Angela Brazil novel.

A couple of days ago.

It was Howl's Moving Castle... the movie was SO much better.

It just felt so wrong that Howell was from Wales.

About 3 weeks ago. I finished Shutter Island because I wanted to read the source material before I went to go see the movie.

Maybe it's because I read the book first, then saw the movie, but I like the book better. 😛

Anyway, the last time I read a book was earlier today. I finished Deerskin by Robin Mckinley and got halfway through Ender's Shadow by Orson Scott Card. 😀

Anymore my brain is too wrapped up in manga (as per my spouse) but recently bought the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" set, so I've been working through it. Currently halfway through book three "The Titan's Curse". Read the first half yesterday, will probably finish tonight if nothing comes up.

Well, I read Karen Miller's Innocent Mage in it's entirety on Tuesday. I'm also currently reading Terry Pratchett's Carpe Jugulum. (Innocent Mage popped in in the middle of my reading that because my power went out and my bookshelf was closer than my bag.)

A few days ago...read Pride and Prejudice again.

Though I haven't read much since I moved, since no library, and no bookstore :'(

Today up until about 10 minutes ago, when I took a break to get more tea and check my e-mail, and that was "Sex, Politics and Society" by Jeffrey Weeks, "Woman" by Bernard A. Bauer, "Fin de siècle Vienna" by Schorske and one of the essays from "Meditations on a Hobby Horse" by Gombrich. Ofcourse that was for "work", so it might not be the type of reading you're thinking of.

The last time I sat down to read for pleasure was last night when I was re-reading "Spring Snow" by Yukio Mishima (I love that book). Tonight I'll either take Hesse's "Narcissus & Goldmund" again, or I'll finally get started on "Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter" by A.E Moorat (That one has been lying here, waiting to be read, for quite a while.) or possibly "The dragon keeper" by Robin Hobb... I'm not sure yet.
