How can can you read too much (is such a thing even possible)? What's wrong with your parents? Books are never a waste of time.

If you're unable to buy books then why not get books that are in the public domain? They're free (and legal) to download from certain sites, or read online if that's preferable. (If you need some sources you can send me a pm and I'll send you some links.) It's not the same as real books, but it's better than nothing.

Since you're reading for school, surely you must have some access to books through your school at least.

Yesterday I started reading a book--Once Upon A Curse. I don't really like it, but I have to read different books for school. In my English class, we're currently reading True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle.

I've never really read a book that I enjoyed fully, but I found some interesting.

Lauren Kate. I was planning on reading her other books, but now 😐 And I can't believe there's a sequel to it!

Yeah, I know all of the sites. I also have a lot downloaded, but I guess I just prefer having the paperbacks/hardcovers. Thanks though 🙂

Don't really have access to books through the school...it's online, so just the ones they're teaching are given to me.

On topic...also read Heartless by Sara Shepard (Pretty Little Liars)...don't know whether I like that series anymore :S Just waiting for the final book to come out this year...

1 day ago - The wind up bird chronicle by Murakami Haruki. I also read ebooks on my ipod touch, butI still prefer paper.

I finished the first 4 books of the Dune series by Frank Herbert last week. I would continue but I can't find the fifth one and I don't want to read the final one out of order. T-T

I'm also reading He's Just Not That Into You by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo. However, it's really very difficult to read that book all together for me so I read a few pages every day.

Can't blame your parents. Reading crap like that is a waste of time (though sometimes it's nice to waste time—sometimes).

Well, I won't know if it's crap or not until I read it. And I have a lot of time to waste anyways.

Read, umm, beginning of the 4th book of Blue Bloods. I really don't like that series. "Mix of Gossip Girl and Twilight." (Didn't like either one 🤢 )

Re-read This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen...really want to know when she's going to write her next book, it's been so long since the last 😢

Just last night, I took another stab at Anthony Trollope's The Way We Live Now. I started this book in April, but still dawdling around pg 79 , where Fisker is discussed (at great length).

Great choice in contemporary Japanese fiction. I think some of his most quirky an memorable characters are from this novel: Malta and Creta Kano, Noboru Wataya (the cat), Noboru Wataya (the politician), Lieutenant Mamiya, and Cinnamon and Nutmeg Akasaka.

I love that book 😀 .
It's my second favorite by her (Just Listen is the first.)
Along for the Ride just came out last year, so it might be awhile until her new book comes out...considering she just had a new kid a bit ago.
I know...I'm going on major Dessen withdrawal </melodramatics.>

On topic, about a half an hour ago/hour ago, was reading the third book in the Percy Jackson series...

I hope they find Annabeth soon, I'm getting annoyed with the Percy's and Thalia's constant whining XD.
