From the very start the poor kid is getting the crap end of the stick. No matter what the situation it seems that Jiro gets punished the worst while everyone else manages to escape with light beatings. And never once have they tried to consider things from his point of view, the fact that he knows literally nothing of society, and he doesn't understand people's emotions.

This is particularly annoying once his brother shows up, since he essentially doesn't know how to survive in society either. but unlike Jiro his brother is immediately accepted and every time he causes a problem or is involved in one he is instantly forgiven. And to this point even though they have known Jiro for a year and he has calmed down considerably he still gets the worst of it.

I had high hopes when the sister came to visit but of course in these situations it is the hero's fault for falling for them, so I can understand being a little forgiving but you can only forgive so much until you move on and forget, there is after all, a limit to being whipped.
