I'm looking for a bl novel I read a while back which was in translation from Japanese to English. The main character is a male clan leader who is able to see demons and is afraid of them. When he was younger he was particularly scared of of a large and 'vicious' demon he often saw (later becoming the love interest). One day this vicious demon went away and was replaced by this cute short demon he wasn't afraid of, I believe he later finds out the cute demon is the same as a vicious demon when it transforms to scare off an exorcist and has difficulty transforming back. Been looking for it for ages, but google hasn't helped at all!

I'm not sure, but it sounds like Oni no Ou to Chigire (Novel).
