My memories on this are vague, so I will try to describe it.
It may or may not be sci-fi
The goal of the MC involves taking over the world/a world-threatening event.
Original goal of female lead is to kill him or something similar
She ends up working with him, briefly,
But is kidnapped/convinced/forced to leave, probably right in front of mc.
Anyone have any ideas?
