You mean the romance book that's ranked first on several lists? I have not read it myself.

Who doesn't know it is a better question. I find it ridiculous that it's gotten so popular. I'd love to know how and why it got so popular because there are a million bdsm books out there with the same formula. The same everything. Why aren't they as popular?
Also I heard that Fifty Shades of Grey was a twilight fanfic first and the characters' names and descriptions are the only things that are changed. The fanfic is called Master of the Universe.
Here is an article about it : Master of the Universe versus Fifty Shades by E.L James Comparison
No one gives a shit what trite garbage you write here.

Too much media coverage (in the US at least...)
But thanks to that, I've come across a wonderful blog: Sweaters for Days and Moves like Jagger. Later on in her blog, she also mentions a parody that is being published. 🙂

It's ridiculous. Saw it on the news. Looked it up on amazon. It sounds to me like any other romance novel (like the thousands of romance novels I saw sold at a local Borders on its last opening day for $0.25 each) and based on people's reviews, less erotic too; and the text is as simple as Twilight which isn't very good. People say that the girl blushes way too much and easily. I suggest looking up the 1 star reviews on amazon if you are really curious.
You guys should totally look up Selena Gomez's parody too. HILARIOUS STUFF!!

OH GOD. Seriously? No wonder it's "popular." People love simple language. As my teacher would say, don't need to be literate to be able to read it.
