Just wondering what bands everyone likes.
'cause I'm bored. yeah.
Anyways, right now I'm listening to Coin-Operated Boy by the Dresden Dolls. I also like Thursday & Imogen Heap & Hellogoodbye & Motion City Soundtrack & Sugarcult & Saosin... just to name a few.

Well, sorry if this doesn't work and just creates a big mess but... Lets see if I can just show you my favorites (cross my fingers): (Dang, embed player doesn't work, oh well, in text then.) USA rock ( Goo Goo Dolls, Ra, Shinedown, SR-71...), Japanese pop, or German techno/power metal (Scooter, Masterplan...).

my favorite bands atm (they change ~every half a year) are mainly metal bands including: Kamelot, Blind Guardian Edguy and recently I also listen to Lunatica and Leaves' Eyes.
I also like to listen to some classic stuff and anime/movie soundtracks, but not so much.

The general opinion about Songs and Bands in a foreign language is that they sound good because you cannot understand them. Once you do, you would say it's not so good anymore.

It's true. I mean when you listen to song in say Japanese, you can't understand what the hell they are singing. But you like it because It has a rhythm.
Like the theme song from Bleach anime.

So true, I remember when Lady Marmalade (not exactly foreign) came out everyone kept singing the oh so memorable line "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)?", mind you I was 12 at the time .
UVERworld, asian kung-fu generation. (Japanese band)
Crowded House
In the paper today, tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page
Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart

Yeeeaaah that song rules!!! Normally I always skip the opening after having it heard once, but I listened to that one every single episode 🙂
