I keep checking every few months to see if Onmyouji's been scanslated. Sigh. No progress so far...

Hmmm...He's referred to in many mangas, animes and games but I can only get this off the top of my head atm.

He's mentioned in Inukami, Ghost Hunt..well most series with spirits at least mention him. I think there are a few that starred him or his descendants or something.

In the horror game Kuon for PS2 he's a she.

There's a little text about him, that compare him to Hao Asakura (in Shaman King), in french.

Chapter 3 of Taishou Mugen Kitan features him, and the (unscanslated) Yume Yume Onmyouji Kidan is about him.

Oh come now, isn't it sort mean for you to have us do your reasearch for you (even if it isn't homework)? 😉

(I say this in a half-teasing-half-serious tone.) I can understand looking for Abe no Seimei if he's mentioned in other manga because that isn't really something that could be searched easily by one person, but not really the regular information pages (although I'll admit I didn't try to look him up for info on Google to see how much info is on him).

i didn't intend to have any half tone.. sorry if it sounded like that.
it's just that i really think there are a lot out there; mangas about abe no seimei that is.
please don't put too much effort in it.!! i just asking if you encounter his name or can recall something from the top of your mind, to add it to this list. i thought it could be an interesting topic/list for other people too. i wouldn't have made it otherwise.
< ah. did i overlook your 😉 ! >

anyway. i think seimei is way interesting for being an occult personage that truly existed. i dare you to name one other person so sorcery and real !! 😛

just as a side note

i am not sure if this is true or its a urban legend amoung us meteorologists, but the first known of meteorologists were employed at the court in china. There job was to predict everything from floods to vulkanos, and the price for a false prediction was death.

thank god we have a union now

The very wikipedia article you linked has a list of references to him in fiction, many of them posted by the users here.
