So I’m looking for a shoujo manga I read a looooong time ago. From what I remember, the main character loved this guy who was still getting over his late girlfriend. Or he was just obsessed with this particular girl. I can’t remember. But he just doesn’t end up with the MC.

The MC then dates this other character to move on and she actually falls in love with him. The guy tells her she can go try again with her first love interest (cause he thinks the MC still wants to be with the other guy) but the MC tells him that he’s the one she wants to stay with.

That was the general synopsis of this manga. I am likely to have screwed some details up. Anything sounding similar is appreciated!!! 🥺🥺

Tonari no Atashi matches up with the second half of the description, but not as much with the first part. He has a trickier relationship with his girlfriend (with whom he is neither in love or obsessed with), but in any case, he doesn’t end up with the MC.
