I think it was scanlated recently like within the last 3-4 months or so, its a yaoi and its either a one-shot or an extra, it's about this guy who finds some little tree sprite about the size of his hand and decides to do naughty things to it, one scene i remember involved a paint or calligraphy brush, then the sprite or fairy becomes a human because that's what happens when these fairies or whatever have sex for the first time and so they can be together, it's a pretty cute. Also I think the guy was staying at his grandfather's summer house and found the spirit/fairy/sprite/little person when he woke up, also, the spirit was kind of rude...but in a cute way that made the seme chuckle. The only manga I could find that was yaoi and had anything to do with tree spirits/faeries is Hachiue no juunin.

Sounds like chapter two of Watanabe Asia's Harukoi Sakura, titled Kunpuu Tango. It was scanlated by Ebil Trio two or so months ago.

Thank you so much! There's no description/summary so it's no wonder I couldn't find it, I kept typing so many variations of the word sprite/fairy/spirit into so many searches I thought I dreamed the whole story up lol
