I have no problem with it. I wouldn't become one nor would I use one. Mainly because I don't trust people, especially those I've never met before, even in a public setting. I think there are far too many people out there who would do harm to others, just because they can.

It seems to be legal in NJ, there are always advertisements in the newspaper from them.

I'm no really against it.. it can also be sometimes useful in a way.. if there is some kind of a big reception and you need to have a partner, otherwise you will loose face, then it is completely normal to hire someone just to accompany you...

But.. well, where i live, escort service pretty much equals to prostitution.. so I've never really heard of someone hiring an escort like for a day just to take strolls with you or go to a cinema...

i think they should be illegal...
at first you think they are harmless...and then be with them much longer and then things happen...and then things start to get illegal and then adultery occurs and then people know and then really bad things happen...

Yeah, I've always wondered about escorts. I think some of the ones that are advertised in the paper and thereabouts are actually prostitutes. Still, I think it's totally fine to have a job where you're hired to be a girlfriend or arm candy for a while. It might actually be fun if you're careful. It's like being a modern geisha.

Also, the male version makes for a great shoujo storyline. 😛

Although i feel its kinda bad, some people have no other way of making money. Now if they do this just for fun then there is a problem. Escorts and prostitution arent the same, but they are very close.
