I swear I watched and loved an anime that was set in the early '90s, starring a young boy/girl who acted like a happy cat and hung around a group of teens who formed a basement band. I don't think the manga was ever translated, but the anime was subbed. I believe it was called Toy-o, but I can't find even a mention of it anywhere. Help! I loved the art and music and the (somewhat ambiguous) story and would like to see it again.
