Well about the chapter, I'm really interested with what they'll start next but did anyone catch the subliminal message around page 5... They both talk about how the most genius manga creator can make a manga that seems ordinary and make it really interesting.....
its almost as if Ohba Tsugumi was speaking of himself.. i mean, a manga about kids making manga sounds pretty ordinary and not that interesting but Bakuman is pretty popular in Shonen Jump...
i thought this was pretty funny.

yea, it's like they're referencing to Bakuman =P
and also, when Eiji says that what would show off Ashirogi Muto's talent is something dark, i immediately thought of Death Note!! haha, Ohba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi did indeed make a cult hit with DN.

i could care less about Miura.. to be honest i didnt like him and his attitude ever since he was introduced. Hatori is way better. (not to mention his funnier face) he was the one who got things started for Ashirogi and i was a lil disappointed when they had to switch to Miura.
Miura mentioned he's been at Jump for 3 years and has no big hit, thus he's pushing things for Ashirogi just so his own career would be better.. he's indeed a very bad and inexperienced editor.
Ashirogi should do what's best for them and not listen to Miura. i support their fight against him.. and if Miura gets fired maybe they can have Hatori as their editor again! 😀

i agree with b1ue_wishes, hatori is way better than miura. hes too inexperienced and impatient. he wont let ashirogi decide things by theirselves for once because now ashirogi actually knows whats good for them. REBEL!

I agree, as an editor Miura needs to learn how to make use of the Mangaka indivual strengths. He is pushing his preference (gag mangas) too much on them. He either needs to team up with a mangaka that writes comedy or learn to deal with genres that he might not prefer but that actually fit the personality/styles of the mangaka under him.
