I try and fail to crawl under a rock and die but it passes and then I'm left with all the nasty things I said. I end up confessing how I really feel about certain people, which isn't pretty. 🤢

I usually do something completely out of character when I have a major breakdown. Biggest break down I ever had was in the middle of a group presentation in high school. I was already nervous (since the project involved writing and singing a song about drugs) and had just found out I'd be moving away at the end of the year. So, when I saw one of the guys in the class making faces, I completely broke down, laughing, crying, bending over double and unable to finish the presentation. When I finally calmed down enough to speak, I turned around and started cussing the guy out, right in front of the teacher (who, since I was a complete pet, stood up for me after I was done), completely out of character for me. And that wasn't the last time I did something like that. Shoot, I have another story that also ends with me cussing out a guy in front of a teacher and having the teacher tell the guy off, not me (he was involved in prolonged sexual harassment, so he deserved it).
In less extreme cases, I usually take my frustration out on whatever mess has been bugging me the most. In the most extreme cases, I'll clean an entire house in a few hours at 3 am.

When I have break downs I get really pissed and often shout at my parents with no particular reason. I hate myself for that.

But after a good sleep I usually calm down.

What do I do when I break down...hmm...

I go straight to my room and let it out there, or I go outside into my garden and walk around to let off steam.

I tend to stay away from others when i'm angry because I know i'll end up shouting and saying something I don't mean and things will get messy.

I usually go straight for the bed, fume, and play my music really loud so I can't hear anything except that to try and keep me from thinking too much.

Long time ago, if I broke down, I'd go on a potential killing spree. I've hurt people in the past out of pure rage.

Come today, I mostly play the piano... all the sad and depressing songs I know, or watch anime/read manga. If it doesn't work either... I play Mahajongg... I don't know why, but it always manages to relax me. Ultimately, once I indulge in all that... I go to sleep forgetting about the things that broke me down....

I guess, do anything that'll take your mind of the reason for your breakdown.

😲 oMG! I used to be like that too! ..but that was when I was in my early-mid teens, I even kept a knife and a cutter near my bedroom and the front door! 🤣

So strange that I saw this as I'm pretty much in the middle of one right now. I'm doing good so far.

Usually my break down's consist of punch anything in sight and lots of yelling(usually only happens at the absolute peak or if I am drunk now). I can control those outbursts now. The best remedy for me is music, sometimes going on a walk, or just going to sleep.

Anyone else have the problem of calming down and within 30 min something else goes wrong and losing it again? Seems to happen to me every time ha.

You're just going through a bad phase and thats all...
Happened with me too... but it went OK in a month or so...
Just keep your cool in situations which demand you to break down and loose your cool where you don't have too. 😐
And I'm telling you it works...

Me+Sunlight=Enormous mental, physical and emotional breakdown. Nothing anyone can do about it.

Therefore, I just have to deal with it when it happens. I cry and scream like crazy, but I can't describe what it really feels like.

During a "normal" breakdown, I simply yell a lot and then become perfectly composed.

I'll go to the gym and bench a new maximum.
I don't shove it on others or objects.

I don't really have break downs. Actually, I can't
remember any.
