New Poll - Living Situation

This week's poll was suggested by Afiaki. What's your current living situation? This poll does not include every possible option, and I left out the "Other" option on purpose. Just choose the option that feels most relevant to you. For example, some of you have children but also are taking care of elderly parents.
You can submit poll ideas here: https://www.mangaupdates.com/topic/kilkdnn/site-manga-poll-suggestions
Previous Poll Results:
Question: Do you intentionally look up spoilers?
Choices:
- Always - votes: 230 (10.2%)
- Sometimes - votes: 1332 (59.1%)
- Never - votes: 690 (30.6%)
There were 2252 total votes. The poll ended: April 12, 2025
I usually look up spoilers like the plots of movies before I watch them. My friends dislike me for it, even though I don't reveal the spoilers to them.

My situation is weird... I did buy a house, but my mom stays in my house right now... So technically my parent lives with me...

Yeah, there wasn't a clear option for "an adult living with an elderly parent", so I just picked "living with parents" 😅

Same here. My parents divorced and i bought my mom's portion of the mortgage so my siblings have a roof over their heads and we don't need to downgrade to a smaller house. Been co-owners with my dad till today 17 years later, the house has been fully paid and my siblings have moved into their own homes & family. Only me, dad and stepmom are living together now.
I guess you didn't count that a sizeable number of Asian (and maybe other culture too) people live with their parents and also their partner + children mmm...
I will change this world mmm...
So the world can change me mmm...

Not that common here in Finland, but I live with my parents in a detached house but I'm also married with a husband. If you have a big enough house for everyone it just makes sense to pool our resources, especially in the current economy

You still call them as friends? What we like or dislike does concern their preferences? 😅

should probably repost it with the adult living with parents option so if you're living your neet life in their basement it sounds respectable
Was surprised to see the majority was living with parents at first since I didn't think MU would have a large base of very young people in 2025, but then I thought about it and figured it was probably mostly adults with elderly parents. Came to the forum post and it seems like that's probably indeed the case.
Currently living alone. Wish I had roommates again--partly because rent is atrocious now, but also because I've gone a bit insane living by myself in a studio for so many years ^^;

Living with just partner / spouse.
We're never going to have kids lol. I already got a vasectomy. Married for 5 years, together for 14 now.
All of you who say "living with parents" because you're the caretaker are saints, by the way.

That's my dream. I want a DINKs life.
But currently living with my parents instead. Their house is big, so I'm just making full use of the vacant room lol

My brother and I live together and that's not an option either.

Yeah, it is strange that the poll specifies "unrelated roommates/housemates" but doesn't provide an alternative option for those living with siblings/cousins/aunts/uncles/grandparents or any other family members aside from parents, spouses, and children.

I live with my grandparents, there's nothing to choose from that would be close... It's weird how one choice specifies "unrelated" but then there is no option for related.
