I really hope its not and besides the fight with deidara lasted way longer than this and Itachi was stronger than Deidara. And sasuke put alot into beating Deidara and to believe he beat itachi just like that it seems to fake to be real

hmmm, maybe, but after all the hype, i doubt kishimoto would build it up like that and not have him really be there.

why would kisame be there to hold them off if itachi wasent there?

I think Kishi himself said in a not too old interview that he wanted this fight to last. Basically this fight will be longer.

Just because he said it in an interview doesn't make it true. And maybe Itachi's letting himself get stabbed because he's using someone else's body again.

Maybe it's one of those people-replacing techniques that was done before. Kind of like the time Kisame fought gai's group and itachi found naruto's group.

Nooo Itachi cab't die! He has the 3 skills of sharingan that even sasuke doesn't have, The Amaterasu, Tsukiyomi and the unveiled third one. How can he lose without using those?

it's not known if Sasuke has the Mangekyou Sharingan or not,we have to wait for the end of this fight to be sure

like I said we don't know yet.he never used it but it would completely make sence to let him fight without it until the very end
or maybe he get's it after he kills Itachi but I really don't want him to die

but what if he figured it out on his own and considers it his own, personally developed, technique? He had no reason to use it against Deidara IMO he was winning that fight hands down until Deidara self-destructed. Also, holding on to that kind of skill to use against Itachi is just what Sasuke would do. The only person that might be worthy, in his eyes, would be Naruto.
