I noticed that I can vote multiple times per poll, so I am wondering if anyone else does this.

All the time. Sometimes three or four times per poll but I don't think it counts as more than onde vote. It's probably because the system didn't register my vote and made me do it again. And I do. Because it annoys me when I vote and it still gives me the chance to do it again...

What's the point of voting many times? There's nothing to gain.

There is no point. Potentially one would be skewing the results by voting more than once. I'm not even sure why I do it. Perhaps I lack impulse control. I guess it is kind of fun as well.

Some people want to feel like they are part of the "majority", even when their opinions are horrendously unconventional.

Does your amount of votes have anthing to do with your IP ? I vote once and what i care about is the conversation not the amount of % my pony "won" at the end of the week.
We are having polls about polls now. The humanity. The snake is eating itself 😀 .

Who knows? Maybe this poll will make people stop voting more than once per poll. I know I will. Or maybe the polls will be made so you can only vote once per computer or per account. Worse case scenario, I informed people they can vote more and people will do it more often. 😁
