New Poll - Weather

This poll was suggested by StarlightDreams over 7 years ago. Why do all these weather conditions end with -y? This doesn't deal with temperature. It's just the weather conditions.

Dang, the majority of you have voices for your characters! I personally don't imagine voices for what I read. But if a movie comes out for it, subsequent re-reads will involve me thinking of those voices. Prime example is Harry Potter, as I read many of the books before the movies came out, but now I always have the voices of each actor in my head.

Ditto this, but add God rays to the picture. However, tropical is option.
Rainy. Heavy rain and darkness are the best. Going outside becomes an adventure and cities look like Blade Runner. As they should.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

As long as it's not windy (I don't mind a breeze, mind you) or rainy (or worse: both), I don't particularly care. Well, I'm not too fond of fog, either, I guess.
(stormy falls under "windy". Also, hail and/or lightning falls under "rainy" )

Sunny. I live in a tropical country and love the weather (and temperature) here. Rainy/stormy/foggy days get me down, cos it's a hassle to even try to do anything productive during those days. I've never really thought of "windy" or "cloudy" as weather conditions, but as long as they don't reach hurricane levels or actually rain, respectively, I suppose they're tolerable. Never experienced snow, and don't want to, either. I've got a hectic schedule, I don't have time to be dealing with the weather on top of that!

I guess my windy isn't as strong as others' windy, I just live in a too mild location.

I love the snow. It's so beautiful, and you can hit people with it 😁

I like variety, having one too long I'll get bored of it. The main thing for me is it has to be warm. I love a warm summer rain or storm but cold and wet is no fun. Snow is the only one listed that I hate, the only way I can enjoy it is when I'm inside and warm looking out (but my job doesn't let stay home and winter driving is the worst).

Stormy. I'm in the minority this time. I just really like thunders. They are dangerous, but they are also extremely fascinating to me. Whenever it starts to get stormy, I sit by the window to enjoy the natural show. It's so relaxing.

I voted sunny but it's more like the early spring kind of sunny, when the weather is still cool.
Although taking a stroll on the coast in stormy weather is really nice.

Sunny. Like the type during autumn.
Woulda say Snowy, but it never snows here. Hail at most which is no good and characteristically different. Duh!

Sunny 100%!! I understand after reading the replies why people picked other options, but yeah. I'm a backpacker and precipitation, wind, low ceilings, etc. get old really quick when there are no buildings to retreat into and/or they're hiding the scenery.

I drive to work facing east. Drive home facing west. I hate the sun in my eyes when driving. Even with sunglasses the rays find a way to get in to my eyes. I really feel like Shinya Arino with his "to hell with the sun" on those days. I prefer mostly cloudy, rainy, snowy days.
