This week's poll was suggested by Desert. I guess we really should've done a poll about J-pop first, but I feel like K-pop is more popular.
Previous Poll Results:
Question: Opinion on Osamu Tezuka
Choices:
Who? - votes: 1934 (45.1%)
I don't care for his work - votes: 337 (7.9%)
I still have to try out his works - votes: 763 (17.8%)
I like exactly one of his creations - votes: 211 (4.9%)
I like some of his work - votes: 746 (17.4%)
I am a big fan - votes: 294 (6.9%)
There were 4285 total votes.
The poll ended: December 22nd 2018
Quite a lot of people in the comments were disheartened by the number of people who didn't know about Osamu Tezuka. I'll admit that I didn't know him by name, but I did recognize many of his works. But I haven't actually read anything he's done...

I've never listened to K-pop. Not like I avoid it on purpose, just that I've never got around to it. And the only J-pop I listen to are anime OP's/ED's.
So No, never for me, but without the exclamation mark, because that makes it sound like I hate it or something ^_^
I do have some K-pop in my playlist, but only like 2% of it mmm...
It's still mostly populated by Japanese and western mmm...
I will change this world mmm...
So the world can change me mmm...

Started in 2016 and it was one of the reasons that made me take Korean classes.
You aren't into groups, I would recommend some solo pop singers...
Also, the Korean indie scenario it is pretty nice! Try hyukoh if you aren't that into pop music.
I've always been aware of K-pop but never was really intrigued to look into it. Then that K/DA thing blew up (I did like the song) and I had a listen to some other K-pop songs and they're not my thing, so no. Not into it.
It seem their fans are as mad as fandoms can be too haha.

Why did No have to be so emphatic? I don't like "pop" no matter the counrty of origin but I don't feel the need to shout and do a flounce over it.

Me too. I don't hate it, I just don't care for pop in general.
Tried it, but not really my thing fits the most. Not a genre I would listen to on my own, I guess. I don´t hate it though.
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

If watching beautifully made kpop dance covers on youtube counts, then yes I've been listening to it for a few years now. Otherwise, if it's only listening, I would instead listen to anime OST. They sound more meaningfull and authentic.
The only interesting thing from the korean popular culture is their history-themed-tv-dramas or "sageuk" for short.

I got into k-pop around 4 or 5 years ago. My favorite groups are Seventeen, Monsta X and BTS.

I don't actively look for kpop to listen to but sometimes i find some songs that i like. over all i don't even qualify as a casual kpop fan. i wish there was a "sometimes" option for this poll, since there isn't i just went with "no, never!".

I used to listen to rap groups like Epik High, Drunken Tiger, and Leessang. I was never much into the actual kpop groups, though my sisters are still big kpop followers. Maybe, I should start actively listening again to study my Korean.

The only K-pop I could say I ever enjoyed, if you even want to call it that, was Psy's Gangnum Style which pretty much everyone and their mom loved to hate or hated to love.
I used to listen to J-Pop, J-Rock and Visual Kei in my younger days.

Did you try the group that two of the girls in K/DA are from? G-idle or whatever their name is?
And yes...K-pop fans can be quite...intense. >.<
