I was having a debate and claimed that sometimes the friend does win the love triangle. My friend then said "prove it!" and I realized I could not think of a single example off the top of my head... nor when I casually glanced at my manga list. So I turn to you, mangaupdates, to back me up!

Please list any love triangles where the childhood friend wins over the rando asshole that pops in.

That definitely happens in friends to lovers mangas

Right now I can only remember this one : After Friend (though you don't see much of the other guy) But I guess you could find others by doing an advance search with both the tags "love triangle/s" and "friends become lovers" and maybe "childhood friend/s" if you want to be more specific.
