Hi, can someone tell me what manga this is...

If I remember correctly the world-setting was a bit European in nature, I vaguely recall the use of signora and another term of address (possibly a French one).

Chapter one started with ML coming back from wherever and looking for FL who in their eyes up and disappeared and saying something along the lines of that it shouldn't be so hard to find her.

There was a war between two countries and FL's country, an island merchants country, supplied one of them. That country then lost and ML, the king of the opponent's country, wanted her country to pay remunerations but they didn't want to so they thought to send a princess but the king couldn't or didn't want to send his own daughter (or he didn't have one) and so split FL, highranking noblewoman, up from her fiancée and sent her. ML wanted money, not a wife so he left to go back to the fighting, I think.

The servants saw this attitude and figured they could bully FL (food, cold instead of warm water to wash her face, etc), but she didn't take it lying down and went towards the chief attendant who was disappointed in his fellow servants and scolded them. FL pressed her advantage that she didn't want to stay there and left with a recommendation letter that attendant had written. When she read it, it said to treat her right because she was "some important figure", so she tore it up. I think she then said something about how people from her country could make money from anything or whatever and her maid said that that was what over countries said to disparage their country.

I thought it was one of the stories Art Lapsa had translated but it's possible I'm looking over/past it or am mistaken.
