Bokura ga Ita to End in Japan
The January issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Betsucomi magazine is announcing on Tuesday that Yuuki Obata's We Were There (Bokura ga Ita) slice-of-life romance manga will conclude in the March issue on February 13. Monthly Betsucomi began serializing the manga in 2002, and We Were There has sold over 10 million copies in Japan.
We Were There received a television anime adaptation produced by Artland in 2006, and Takahiro Miki's two-part live-action film adaptation will open on March 17 and April 21 of next year. Viz Media, publisher of the manga in North America since 2008, will release the 14th compiled book next May.
