Just a question between scanlations or hard copies.
Personally, I will read some series online and if I like them I buy the whole thing.
If they are too long, I just read the scanlations with the hope that someday I can afford the series (Boys Over Flowers)
Some series just get ridiculous in quality (graphics or translations) for instance Vampire Knight. I have NO freaking clue as to what is going on in the scanlations anymore so I'm just waiting on Viz to pop them out.
And then sometimes, I start reading them then the series is licensed and I just decide to read the hard copies. (Skip Beat)

How about you? When do you buy and when do you read online?

*I put this in Shoujo cause I think there will be a different opinion due to the typical length of a shoujo and the content. Plus there are always gender differences.
**And I looked for a topic like this and couldn't find one so forgive me if I've missed it.
