Damn that was brutal what Ginjo did to Ichigo...

And now we know exactly why Orihime and her brother lived together, though it's 400+ chapters late for that explanation to be important...

hear, hear!!
he took out the eyes, man! and the eyes see all...
that whole spiel about her parents might have been kinda important to mention back when her brother was going all hollow-y on them at the beginning. just as a sidenote, or background information- ya know?

Dude, I'm positive that you only forgot about it, since I remember the manga already explains it way back in the first volume.

You sure? Because I really don't remember when Orihime said that both of her parents were violent and that her aunt paid for her apartment if she kept up with her good grades. I remember that her aunt paid for the apartment, but it didn't really give a reason why other than her brother couldn't take care of them both.

Yup, its true. I remember it briefly said, Sora as a hollow told about it around chapter 6. One translation online called their mother a whore and the father a devil and both would hit their children. When Sora turned 18, he took Orihime and ran away.

Yeah they did explain it way back in vol 1, and I wonder what with Riruka (I think she might know something), and Genjou a DICK musta hurt like hell for Ichi.

It can't hurt more than the other crap Ichigo has been through. I can't remember a fight where he did not completely trashed. The effect is lessen by the fact that Orihime is there so it's nothing permanent. i just hope this leads to him getting his powers back quickly (or at least one of his swords even if it is not his bankai).

Blind Ichigo...
I wonder if there was a real reason for the Riruka/Orihime bonding over donuts?
And yeah, this was mentioned way back in volume 1, the only thing that I don't remember was the aunt part, I think that is new

I want Rukia back too 🙁 🙁 🙁 This is so weird right now without all of them... well, but at least what's good is that we don't have XYZ characters there and Kubo jumping from one character... to other... and other...that was worse.

And she's the main love interest.
