At its Anime Expo industry panel, the anime studio Production I.G revealed that Right Stuf has acquired the North American rights to the Revolutionary Girl Utena: The Movie. Right Stuf had announced the Utena television series at its panel the day prior.

I wouldn't say it's a new movie. They just got the rights to the existing one.
