well it's nice to know the manga is gonna be finished. but i shiver to think about how the live action will be. whenever anyone announces a live action, horrible, horrible memories of L.A. sailor moon images pop into my head... D':

Actually there have been some really, really good live action versions - of manga that do NOT involve magical powers, brightly colored hair, and transformations! 🤣

Something like Cat Street could have a very good dorama, as long as they get a good cast.

yeah i know it's just that brining up those memories at the words "live action" has become an involuntary reaction... but i hope to see how this one turns out. the manga was... enjoyable? 😛

I would definitely watch that. Cause the manga was quite good and can be turned into a live action pretty well.

A live action of this would be amazing... If it keeps true to the manga, but some live action adaptations to manga are good like Gokusen...

the live action drama will be good as long as none has magical power....e.g. hanakimi was great!^-^ I watched the first episode already and it's not bad!

Just watched the first two eps and - though I can't vouch for how closely it follows the manga since it's been a long time since I've read it & I'm also behind on reading what's been released - so far it's quite good. 😀

It's...alright in my opinion. They got rid of Rei, and merged Rei and Koichi together, though I'm fine with it. The manga is, undoubtedly, better though. The live action is nice too but I prefer the manga~ A good drama to watch!~

I haven't seen the drama yet, but if it's as good as HYD, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I love this drama too. But many people did not like it because of their high expectations for it after Hana Yori Dango. It's good in it's own special way. 🙂

I didn't like it at all, because Keito was mousy and nervous and never really stopped being mousy, although the nervousness got toned down. I felt like the character development of Cat Street that made it wonderful was lost in this drama. 🙁
