I haven't played the original, but I have beaten 64 several times. I've also played Adventures, but haven't beaten it yet.

Played every single one (except the DS one).... even played the Super Famicom (SNES) version, and I still remember goin, "ooh.. cool 3-Dee!!"
How can u not like a character with a name like Fox McCloud.

Star Fox rocks. The only ones I've played are the original and 64. I remember when the original first came along with the FX chip and all that. Mind blowing stuff to a kid back in the day.
I've been going through a retro gaming phase lately too, I might add that to the list. I played through ActRaiser and E.V.O.: Search for Eden a week or so ago and I just finished up Symphony of the Night last night. I was thinking about running through Mega Man X next, but now that you mention it, Star Fox would be fun to play again.
