On the "Type", can we add Cellphone Manga to the list?

Why should we? What series has its primary media on a cellphone? And is it common enough to warrant a type listing?

There really is such a thing as cellphone manga but you see, many are nothing but abridged forms of existing manga. Also, even if they aren't adaptions, they're probably protected by DRM. Besides, I haven't even heard of any noteworthy series where its popularity isn't driven just by trends but cos of its writing, artwork, type of characters, etc.

If I understand correctly, you mean these kinds of 'manga': http://www.webtoonlive.com/description/Orange%20marmalade/
I'm starting to encounter series such as these more and more lately (long but slim in width that require scrolling), they seem to be primarily focussed for tablet PCs or netbooks (I think).
Pretty much all I've encountered were made by Koreans.

Would this warrant a new type? In my opnion no. It's still manga/manwha, only digital and not made with the familiar page dimensions in mind.
Even if the content delivery system is 'different' than the standard book format, it's still manga.

Quote from Oxford Online Dictionary

Manga
Pronunciation:/ˈmaŋgə/

a Japanese genre of cartoons and comic books, having a science-fiction or fantasy theme and sometimes including violent or sexually explicit material.

If you are referring to the specific mangas released for cellphone (similar to the ones released for iphone), then I don't think it's released on the web because it was made for cellphone release.

Those aren't "cellphone manga" though, those are webtoons released on Korean sites such as Daum and Naver. I'd definitely be up for a webtoon type option added though.

For now web comics have their own category tag.

I suppose cellphone manga can have a tag too, but are there any in the database?
I doubt anyone is translating them and, as chineserider said, they're not on the web.

I've read some manga that are primarily released on cellphones. Well, according to the scanlators that is.
An example is Carbonard Crown by SHINONOME Mizuo. It says here http://www.solelo.com/blog/index.php/2010/04/carbonard-crown-vol-1/?cp=all#comment-11043 that it is a cellphone manga.

You don't label stuff released in magazines as "magazine manga" or stuff released in tankoubon as "tankoubon manga" do you?

I didn't think so.
