this thread basically argues the reader's responsibility in following the scanlator's rules
scanlators are pirating, and hold no right in copyright to the manga
but they are spending great time and effort into bringing the manga to the fans in their own language

so should the fans take the time and measure to consider this, or should we just take all like the pirates we are?

what are your thought on the matter?

This is pretty similar to the Scanlator rights thread we already have going, so please use that.

I'll admit, though, that the groups that put them out are free to do what they want with their releases, but if they think that have the RIGHT to do so, that's just ridiculous. I respect people for their work in a group where they don't have to spend their time translating or editing, but what do they gain from imposing limits like that when a group could just as easily pick it up and not put up rules and wipe them out? E-penis, and all that, I guess.

Well, enough from me, please use that other thread, and if you wish to reply to this post feel free to do it there.
