After dismissing Yosonubo's advice, Yamato tries once more to open up a dialog with Suzuka. She avoids talking with him at school. That night after more reflection, Yamato bursts through the hole in the wall with an emphatic apology- and proceeds to tell Suzuka why he acted as he did. He concludes by telling Suzuka that she is the most important person to him- and she explains that she understands why he did what he did, and that she acted as she did because she was scared of "taking the next step" Ends with Suzuka saying that at that moment, she wouldn't dislike "it" 😉

series note: this chapter is the 10th in this "volume" - Obviously there is at least another chapter to go- I wonder if it will be the last, or if they will continue enough chapters for another volume- (wishful thinking)

Yeah I read it last night and I think there's probably another volume left to squeeze out unless there's some twist.(which i highly doubt). Next chapter will be awesome. I don't know how people can hate this manga. If you read this manga now from beginning to the current chapter you will really appreciate the genius of this manga and its realistic characters. Yes real people are like that. At least the ones i've interacted with in my short 19 years. Oops went on a rant. "what the hell's a rant"- Peter Griffin. 😃

ch.146 was great! i can't wait for the next chapter =D. suzuka is like the real thing here, unlike other romance manga the girls in suzuka are more strict and more realistic. I really enjoy this series

Maybe i'm misunderstanding but it sounds likes you guys are implying that the series is reaching its end?....i really don't think the series is ready for an ending just ye...I mean yeah their relationship will go to a new level and all (hopefully), but there's still other things left to see...well at least that I would like to see...like resolutions for each of the other characters as well and whatever happened to them going to the same university? and yamato's competition with arima...and so on and so forth.

though i'm sure that maybe not all of this gets answered, i don't think the author will end it like this. Besides even after they have taken their relationship further...there's still plenty of things they could once again quarrel about hehe

I was thinking the same thing...

This manga will end when there is a wedding so there will probably be about 2 or 3 more volumes of the manga that are good and about 10 more just about there daily lifes. And then a new manga with some new title will come talking about there daily Lifes as they grow old.

Yea I also hope that it will end when they get married; I think thats one of the better ways to end a romance manga. Anyways, can't wait till the next chapter!

I agree, like Love Hina. They ended with their wedding. I like endings like those, gives you a full resolution. Though you can argue the full resolution isn't until the age and die, but who would really want to read THAT long of a manga.

Seeing as it took them this long to work out their feelings- how about throwing an unexpected pregnancy into the mix! 😲

i was joking about the them growing old thing 😛
But if the manga ends with a wedding im shure there will be a big gap in time and also if the manga truley does end with a wedding ( Whitch i hope it does ) I would like there to be about 2 or 3 more chapters just breefing through there lifes after they get married like show what happends to them in 30 years or so just for the heck of it.

hm.... Suzuka as a old hag and a mom... sounds scary 😲 I wonder how Yamato would act when Suzuka goes in to labor.. I feel bad for him if you think suzuka is bitchy now imagen her in labor.
