Ok I admit that right now it is going a little slow but come on for the author to kill off anybody he wants, including the main character, takes some balls

Yes...the story does go off a bit. It is just sex and violence. It's very strange how explicit they depict sex, whether it is rape or molestation or just plain under aged sex, it's very graphic. But it's fast plot and graphical scenes made up for it's lack of a strong plot.

Yeah.....If i remember, there are four sex scenes involving the main character, and three involving minor characters. The main character is kind of a wuss at the beginning. those people were from gantz as well, but from the other side of the city. They had already gone so meny times to these "parties" that they became totally crazy, and well, its not like its something to be surprised about. Think about it, LIVING that hell every night, sometime you will just break don't matter how strong minded you are. =/
About the main char, well...he will be back, they always do, but you know what? His death made the manga became much more real, because even with their suits, there are no SUPERMAN there, just a bunch of humans fighting to survive and even if you are really strong, with a little of unluckyness you can fall dead on the next second.

I thought the database is only for people that have die while they were doing mission by gantz. If so Kurono won't be be able to come alive. Unless he still alive because it doesn't show any proof they he actually die, or he was sent back to gantz's room just after the rest was sent on a mission. Also maybe there a reward for getting 1000 point like reviving any person that have die in the world. If so the story would be more focus on Kato now and he would become to main character for phase 2 to get 1000 point and once he get Kurono back alive it will become phase 3 of gantz. During phase 3 maybe they will be sent over to alien planet or something.

in a lot of ways the author of gantz resembles quentin tarantino. In that they both go off the premise that violence sells. Soooo the author of gantz was quoted a few times when asked why he made gantz he responded with he wanted to make the most violent graphic sexual manga he could, and see how well it did. So think about that when you critic the plot and character develop or whatever that the author himself could really care less how much you like those.

if you mean the statement about him being sent back to the room, being sent back to the room by gantz is same thing as being bring back to the room. Or do u mean if everybody die they get bring to the room? If so that not true because most of the people izumi kill did not get send to the room. Also the database that gantz have of dead people are only the dead people that particpate in gantz game. Read the manga again if that what you miss out on.

I think the mangaka himself has no idea how to continue the story or finish it and simply needs more time for new ideas.

There is no way to finish this manga as you can say "perfectly"

The only two I can think of is:

Bad Ending (some people may not think it, they might think they deserved it)

All the characters die, than new ones replace, and the story ends...

Or the "happy" ending:

All the characters go back to their normal lives, with Gantz being officially destroyed in some way. We see the main character and other characters lives continue, than in the end, they will show some distinct thing in most movies. It will be continued. (kind of like Godzilla, all the eggs were gone, Godzilla gone. But int the end, their was one egg left... Thats what I predict what would happen in this ending)
