And about Kurono being brought back... He didn't "die" in the room so, I think he's a goner. Unless he's alive still, somewhere, in a hospital or with Tae. (I hope he is, I love his developement.)

Finally someone thinks the same as I. Well, personally I think that the development is working fine and in 276 they nearly answered the biggest question.

I don't think this manga is slow, it's more like the format isn't the more correct one.
I think this series would be more enjoyable in a monthly chapter.

I never think this series went down. People just don't like when something gets changed, since they seem to be enjoying it. But, get over it and try to enjoy the new character setup. If Kurono didn't dye, that arc wouldn't have been so good and shocking.

Good thinking about the room, i didn't remember that, I think Katou is gonna have a shock when Gantz tells him this, if it's true.

Yeah, 276 almost gave the answer but, it seemed like Nurari didnt want to answer. He was more like "you knowing what's happening, wont really make any difference, and you're dying here anyway".

I dont know why but this reminded me of Alien Vs Predator's story. How the predators used the aliens as a sport. Could this be something like that? I think anything can be expected at this time.

I hope this arc brings a better answer. I dont think they will be able to kill nurari like this. Seems to simple for such a strong alien but, if this fail, i can only see that all of gantz will be destroyed.

I dont think its over for Kurono yet...my theory is that he comes back as one of those monsters (kinda like the crappy anime ending except he actually IS a monster) and the group tries to bring him back to normal...

he didnt die while doing a gantz mission but his data should still be in the file thing so when gantz brings him back to life he should be the same as before he got his memory wiped

Kurono died outside of the room and while he wasnt part of Gantz. He did however get his memory back and If I remember correctly at the end of that chapter when he dies it shows a picture of him in the Gantz memory bank of people able to revive.

Just to add on the title "worst manga" this is by far not the worst manga out there, this is a awesome manga with a good cast of characters very interesting story with plenty of twist(main character dies) and surprise plus awesome fights.

Really? I didn't notice that, I need to look back at it.

I agree with the second paragraph. But, that being said, what you or I say is the worst manga it might be the best for someone else.

even if I disliked this manga, i could never say it is the worst. i know the difference when i dislike something cause its bad and when its cause its not to my personal liking.
and there's some really awful manga out there, this isn't definitely and for a fact the worst.

for me when the manga started going down hill was the whole Vampire and psychics thing.....i just didn't like how they were thrown into the story seemingly out of nowere....but to say its the Worst manga?, thats pretty ridiculous to me......it's definitley not by a long shot...

and regarding Phase 2, i dont think it's bad but.....honestly nobody wants to see Kato as the main character, Kei was a great character which is a big reason why most people who read the manga liked it so much....because he was hard, he was a badass......but he was normal and average at the same time.....where as Kato is kind of the opposite, he's clearly not an average guy like Kei and he's more physically gifted and intelligent even...but he's so soft and such a boy scout, that no one really gives 2 fucks about him.....thats why i stopped reading it, but if Kei comes back i plan on picking it back up again...

with that said, someone PM me if and when Kei gets revived or Kato dies.....or if Izumi (i think thats what that long haired guys name was) comes back too, he was pretty cool...

Worst manga ever?

The main character died: So did Goku in DBZ, doesn't have people spouting that it's the worst manga ever. I am sure Kei will be back.

Gantz is interesting because it allows for an ever changing cast of interesting, yet somewhat realistic characters. It's very hard to predict where the story will go and therefore is one of the BEST mangas out there (imo).

The manga is slow and infrequent because the mangeka isn't compromising his artistic integrity. Take a look at the gantz artwork and compare it with that from naruto or bleach (I like them both btw). The content alone should be enough to show you he's not targeting a wide audience.

Kato also isn't that bad, sure I like Kei more but they exist to contrast one another.

All in all, if it's not your cup of tea, that's cool. But it's far from being the worst manga ever...

I like the manga it actually shows cowardness with people instead of them growing balls when its there first time going to gantz and kicking ass..it shows them getting scared, crying, not listening to the rules...i get the feeling that the mangaka has a negative view of humans...doncha think?

@Emperorpogi: Hundreds = Amazing

I like Gantz, but the aspects that I like is what happens when they aren't on missions. I don't know if they are still fighting in Osaka, but I stopped reading it when that mission lasted for OVER 3 YEARS of releases (or at least 3 years of once a month scanlated releases). I couldn't take it anymore so I just quit. After a while the only thing I looked forward to was the occasional softcore j-porn that was in one group's releases.

Good news everyone:

Kurono is back!

So, in the end, Veltwolfsleer, you were right; his data was still in the room .
