Coke vs. Pepsi

Coca Cola has a very sugarry taste, while Pepsi has a more...sharp taste.
I'd say drink Pepsi when you need a "Jolt".
Drink Coca Cola when you want something really sweet.
My main gripe with the poll is that they're very different tastes, but they're both good soft drinks (soda).

Whoever voted "they both taste the same" clearly don't have taste-buds.
I like both.
Coca-Cola is always enjoyable. It tastes best in a glass full of ice though; straight from the can bottle is just not enough...especially for cans.
Pepsi is for when I feel a little mischievous xD It's extra sweetness and lack of the amount of gas that coke has goes great with spicy foods.
I voted for Coke though...but just classic coke! Zero tastes like water, diet has too much gas, cherry is eew and vanilla is a tad weird.

coca-cola all the way.
Only after binges of coca-cola, two months straight of twenty-four cans a week, will i have pepsi to change it up a bit. Pepsi DOES taste noticeably better than coke with spicy food, but I find coca-cola is less sharp and therefore going well with more foods (non spicy) as well as more alcohol.

I am forever semi-detered from cherry bi-products due to Panadol children's syrup being in cherry flavor. That shit was nasty!

coke burns and tastes like crap. like drinking acid. except for cherry coke. that's all it has going for it.
i don't really drink pop though...pointless, it is.

Pepsi of course! I've always thought that Pepsi had a way fresher and more refreshing taste than coke.
Coke tastes stale and you can't drink too much of it at once or the damn thing'll kill you from the carbonation.

I'd have to agree. I didn't get to the point where I liked ANY fake cherry flavoring until around my mid-20s, and I still can't stand fake banana flavoring. Yucky, icky cough syrup flavors. Gross.
I do like Cherry-coke. I don't really like Vanilla coke, though.

Maybe it's because I grew up drinking coke, but I get what feels like this overwhelming fume of gas to my nose every time I open a can of pepsi. 😕

I really love coke, but pepsi can be a nice change from time to time. Though I like coke zero, and i haven't tried a diet pepsi that tasted ok before

I don't really drink sodas anymore but...Coke, it's more sour and has more bubbles in the soda (as opposed to all the gas going up your nose when you open it), overall it tastes less sweet than Pepsi, which makes me want to puke less often. 😛

i say pepsi is more subtle while coke is more aggressive so i like the coke though pepsi once in awhile is fine too though what i really like drinking is SUNKIST!!!

Pepsi all the way! If there's a choice, I'll go for Pepsi 100% of the time. But that doesn't mean I won't drink the occasional coke.
