Manga=Author/Artist, Anime=???
If for example, I liked the art of a manga, and wanted another manga with the same kind of art(characterwise), I would normally look at that manga‘s author/artist right,..
So what if its an anime, where should I look,
Here an example link, http://myanimelist.net/anime/2904/Code_Geass:_Hangyaku_no_Lelouch_R2,
If I should look at the Producers, there‘s a bunch of it, or is it that it really should be the Producers in which I should look at??
Thank you very much..

If we are talking about visuals and animation, the studio would be the one to look for, I guess.
For example, Shaft is kinda famous for their approach to the visual elements of their anime and many people look up their works just because it's from Shaft.
Studio Ghibli is another good example of this. Yeah, Miyazaki is the big name there, but it's the crew who make the graphics.

Your problem there is using something like MAL. Honestly, it seems like a bit of a mess for a website, design-wise. I personally use anidb.net for tracking down pretty much anything anime-related.
For example, here:
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=creator&creatorid=729
Start by civilizing yourself on Ghibli. 😀
That site is nice, I‘ll use it then, I should sign up right??
And thaank you..
Just as I thought, Mononoke, Howl, Spirited away, Poporo, was one of their creations in the 90‘s..
Edit:
Found the Anime I was referring to, looked at the staff in the character design, the person‘s other works don‘t really interest me that much in first glance, but I‘ll still try watching them..
Thanks..
