You have to see the movie "One Hour Photo" first though, before you know what I'm talking about. Just saw the movie recently again, so that's how I came up with this.

In "One Hour Photo", when Sy gave Jake the Mass-Production Eva figure, he told Jake that the figure is "one of the good guys".

Is this a simple and honest film mistake, or is it a deliberate allusion to Sy's uncertainty of his own character. They are "technically" the good guys, but they were being pretty antagonistic towards the end of EoE.

Or maybe I'm just looking too deep into it. >__>;

Also, this movie gets plus points for having an anime figurine. 🤣
