I kind of got interested in the series, but it appears new chapters will not be coming out. However, there is a novel by the same title that seems to be the source material. The novel has over 1200 chapters, but reading Chinese is beyond me. Might give MTL a shot, the first 60 (or so) chapters are available for free.

There is a rumor going around that the artist drawing the manhua adaptation has passed away. However I don't know the status of the novel, it has not been updated since 2022, maybe it is complete.
