Here are a few:
Ao Haru Ride: high school, slice of life romance
Taiyou no Ie: slice of life romance
Hana to Akuma: this is a demon x human girl. This might not be the type of romance you're looking for but it's an option
Ouran Koukou Host Club: comedy, high school romance. This is one of my personal favorites.
None of them are tragedies and are more than 10 chapters. I hope this helps.
