Anyway, so I heard that there was a Star Trek manga that was already out in, like, 2006? 😲 I never knew! But also... YAY! 😀

Has anyone actually read this manga? Is it any good? There's one really comprehensive review here, along with ACTUAL SCANNED PAGES ZOMG, but that's just one person's view - I wanted to hear from the wider manga community at large.

Even if you haven't read this manga, are you planning to? What are your hopes/fears for it? Or are you indifferent? 😳

I'm tellin' you, I'm even more particular about my Picard than I am about my Spock (and that's saying something), so if they mess with him, I'm gonna lynch Tokyopop. However, if they retain his composed and delightfully repressed hawtness, I will lay flowers at their door. <3

Apparently the manga is even gayer than canon, which is a GOOD thing for me, but mebbe not for you? Well, whatever; all appears yellow to the jaundiced eye... (Please don't argue with me about Trek being gay, all right? You can't win that war. Heck, I couldn't win that war with myself, even if I wanted to. But you gotta admit that at least the teddy bear's pretty durn gay. I mean, come on. Srsly.)
