I've only read a few chapters before loosing sight of this manga but I can quite vividly remember the contents.

It's a manga where animals are presented in human form (only that they have ears and tails). A fox (male) who has a rare silver pelt has to dye it as to not get skinned by another species that are allowed to on special occasions to do that. He attends an academy (I think) and two other guys (from other species) start to find interrst in him and slowly figure out that he really has a silver pelt. One of them even saves him when he wonders through the forest (trying to get home I think) while the ceremonial skinning of the pelts takes place there.

It might be classified as yaoi but I haven't read enough of it to ascertain that. It's not a very new manga either.
