I grew up with manga and anime in the 90's and, after finding myself not being particularly interested with too much of the newer manga floating around, have started looking back to more of the stuff of my era that I didn't get round to reading.

I recently stumbled upon Masakazu Katsura's works (I"s, Video Girl Ai, Shadow Lady, Zetman), and have always been a fan of the zany stuff of Masamune Shirow - my favourite manga being 'Dominion: No More Noise', along with stuff like Orion.

So, basically, is there any stuff similar to the above mentioned, from this era, that anyone would recommend? Any genre is fine with me. I just love the art style, atmosphere and story telling of the later 80's to late 90's manga.

I live in Japan, so any stuff that never made it out of the land of the rising sun is OK to recommend too.
