Ability to add official releases alongside scanlations

Often times, I'll see a series is licensed, and as such, scanlations typically stop coming out.
I like using MangaUpdates to keep track of manga releases, and I can understand not wanting to promote groups or users who are simply scanning in the official version and posting that online... but what about the official version itself?
Listing the official releases alongside the scanlation releases would do a lot of good when it comes to promoting the official versions of series, and it would help me keep track of when Dark Horse or Kodansha or some other English manga publisher has released a new volume of a series I'm following.
Of course, I also think these official versions should be clearly marked to avoid any confusion for users, so another field should be added to the "add release" section, to denote whether or not it's an official version, or perhaps to just note if it's being sold or being offered for free.
What does everyone think of this idea? 😀

Outside of the "Licensed / English Publisher" information on individual series pages, I really don't think there's a place for, or a need for, the information you're talking about here.
I already get that info from my local book stores and on Amazon, I see no need to go to the trouble of gathering it, or expecting others to go to the effort of gathering it, just to post it here too.
This is a fan scanlations site, there's no real value.......and probably far more drawbacks.......clouding the issue with any more than the most basic information that doesn't directly bear on the site's primary purpose.
