This week's poll is from our member smarts. It's pretty simple (except for the fact that your exact reason of why/why not may not be there), so no explanation required~

You can discuss this poll on our forums here (and feel free to tell us your experience if you've gone!):
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=29017

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related):
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: How do you prefer your manga plots?
Choices:
Episodic - votes: 905 (7.5%)
Continuous - votes: 7057 (58.3%)
Doesn't matter - votes: 4140 (34.2%)
There were 12102 total votes.
The poll ended: September 24th 2011

Of the ones who care, continuous wins by a large margin. And I agree with them! My feeling is that it is better to have an overarching story that is heading in a certain direction in order to drive the series forward.

Where's the "I've lived there and am ambivalent about it" category? Two years there and I'm still not sure if I'm in love with it or if I was absolutely wrecked by it.The bars though were amazing. Nothing like getting slushed over there!

Wheres the "I live there but it doesn't live up to the hype, and I wanna go home" Option 😀 D

Ps. My job is forcing me to live here. Free lodging ftw.

What about "Lived there, I loved it." or "lived there and hated it." I didn't just 'visit,' I lived there. No option here.

You know, that's an interesting argument. Does living temporarily there any different than visiting? I guess it depends on the length and how it felt leaving.

Sometimes there's no easy or immediate way to get out.

Sigh... I only transferred at Japan for about half an hour and didn't get to soak in its awesomeness.... :/ but it sort of counts as a visit
