it's just me

Shounen=boy. teenage boy stories. A typical example is Dragon Ball Z, Full Metal Alchemist, etc.
Shoujo=exact opposite of shounen, except with romance, usually school life, and all that other fun stuff added in.
Seinin=...older boy? Not too sure, I never really read any seinin myself. But basically it deals with mature topics that older people would read....I think? Someone else can explain better.

Shounen Ai is romance between male characters 🙂
Yaoi is very similar to shounen ai, but it contains sexually graphic material 😀

If you click on it, it'll tell you all about every genre.
Except smut.
