EDIT: FOUND! The title is Collapse of the World as We Know It I can't believe how quickly I found it when I tried searching this time. I still haven't located all the chapters I remember, but the hermaphrodite story is chapter 36, "Cruel Father." I'll update this post when I find the other chapters.

Side note: The manhuajia is waaaayyy more fixated on pregnancy than I remember. I think almost half the chapters are pregnancy-related body horror. I guess I just blocked that all out lol.

EDIT 2: The seed-planting chapter is chapter 14, "Flower." The MC of that chapter is actually the girl's sister, not her brother.

I haven't been able to find the other story, though. There are several chapters about cats turning into monsters, but none are very long or involve teenage boys hiding in a hotel room. I may have been thinking of a different manhua. Maybe I'll have to start a new search for that one, too!

Hello!

At least ten years ago, I read a strange comic online. It lives in the back of my mind and occasionally surfaces, but I've never been able to find it again.

I believe it was a manhua, but it may have been a manwha or manga. The art was amateurish, and frankly, so was the writing, which leads me to believe it was self-published.

I think it was at least 100 chapters, but there was no overarching story. Some stories lasted multiple chapters, but for the most part, every chapter was a completely new story with completely different characters. And I think the chapters were pretty short.

What tied the stories together was that they were all horror-themed. And they weren't "realistic horror." No serial killers etc. These stories could not happen in real life.

There were often shocking twists. Emphasis on shocking. It often felt like the author's primary goal was just to make the craziest story he could come up with, and they tended to be pretty trashy. Overall, it was super low-brow and low-quality but still fun to read.

BUT HERE'S THE IMPORTANT INFO:

There are only a few chapters that I remember anything about.

In one, a trend has started among young women in which they plant seeds under their skin, causing flowers to grow from their bodies. The main character's sister starts doing it, to his disapproval. His instincts turn out to be right because his sister keeps planting more and more seeds until they take over her body in some horrifying way.

In another chapter, a young man hates his single father for being a crossdresser. But then his dad reveals that he's actually a hermaphrodite and is biologically both his mother and his father. The dad/mom then tries to turn the main character into a hermaphrodite, too, and the MC is horrified. I don't remember exactly how it ends.

Finally, there is another story I only remember a few hazy details about, but I think it was one of the longest. It was several chapters long. There's some kind of horrific muderous overpowered monster, but I think it had an innocuous form, like a cat or something. Its path of destruction starts slowly, but eventually, it becomes an extreme, world-ending threat.

Society starts breaking down. Everyone is freaking dead, but three(?) high-school boys are hiding from it in a hotel room. Obviously, most of them end up wasted. At best, only the MC survives, but I think even he may have died at the end.

I hope someone else remembers this comic and can finally solve this mystery that's been bothering me for years now!
